Ria Iyer
Co-Founder
Ria is the Co-Founder of BoostHER. She has a mission to provide female students with a platform to succeed and connect with one another. Ria is responsible for overseeing the portfolio and coordinating the BoostHER Network.

Christina Nemez
Co-Founder
Christina co-founded BoostHER in 2020 with a passion for female-empowerment and a vision to drive the world towards a more inclusive and welcoming place. She is responsible for overseeing the strategic and creative development of BoostHER.
Ella Pirhonen
Co-President
Ella is a fourth-year FIMS student, in the MIT program and currently serves as BoostHER's Co-President. She is passionate about providing women with the resources needed to break down barriers and reach their full potential. Ella is responsible for overseeing all portfolios and executive duties, and is excited to continue expanding BoostHER's network of empowering women.
Ria Nayyar

Ria is a BMOS Honours Specialization in Organizational Studies, Policy and Ethics. She is interested in Pursuing Law School, with a passion in marketing and the corporate field and hopes to share her passion through networking with others at BoostHER.
Amy Li
Senior Advisor
Amy is a 5th year Ivey HBA + Medical Sciences Student. She joined BoostHER in the summer before second year to support female empowerment initiatives and meet amazing people. Some hobbies include hiking and trying new cuisines!
Education Team
Ikjot Bedi
VP Education
Ikjot is in her first (and only) year of an MSc in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. Her role involves managing the education portfolio, which includes overseeing blog posts. She leads a team of writers who contribute articles aimed at providing insight, education, advice, and encouragement for women in their community. The team’s welcoming and kind nature has made her experience incredibly fulfilling, and she couldn’t have asked for a stronger group of women to collaborate with. In her free time, she enjoys biking, swimming, playing with her dogs, and painting.
Priya Jaswal

Priya is a third-year BMOS student at Western University, specializing in Management and Legal Studies. She joined BoostHER with the goal of making a positive impact on women's lives through her writing. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, running, and painting.
Ashmit Dhillon

Ashmit is a third-year student studying specializing in biochemistry. Her hobbies include reading, workout out and shopping.

Eman Madhani
VP Outreach
Eman is a third-year BMOS student majoring in Consumer Behaviour. Her role includes organizing impactful events such as the annual Mentorship Program, SheSpeaks, and FemTalks, all of which aim to create opportunities for connection and growth. Outside of BoostHER, she enjoys connecting with people, exploring new business ideas, learning from different perspectives, as well as activities like coloring, cooking, baking, doing her nails, and spending time with friends.
Tina Kasaei
Outreach Director
Tina is a second-year Nursing student whose role involves reaching out to empowering female role models to help students expand their knowledge in their fields of interest. She joined BoostHER to use her skills to assist students like herself in broadening their perspectives about the industries they aim to join. In her free time, she enjoys creating art, playing the piano, and watching movies.

Hiya is a fourth-year BMOS student specializing in Human Resources. Alongside her studies, she works as a lash technician and loves meeting new people through her work. She joined BoostHER to connect with like-minded women and to make a meaningful impact at Western University.
Rachel Mawuenyegah
Co-VP Marketing
Rachel is a third-year student at Western University in HBA1. She joined BoostHER in 2023 as a website designer, a role she enjoys because it allows her to contribute to empowering women to become leaders in professional spaces. Outside of her academic and organizational commitments, she has a passion for astronomy and dreams of traveling the world.

Sneha is a fourth-year Medical Science student and serves as a marketing director. With a deep passion for empowerment, she joined BoostHER to continue uplifting women in the workplace. She aims to help build a supportive community where women can connect and share their goals.
Jordan Rooney
Marketing Director
Jordan is a Marketing Director in her third year of BMOS, specializing in Consumer Behaviour, with a strong background in Marketing. In her free time, she enjoys hockey and fitness. She joined the BoostHER Team to collaborate with a wonderful group of driven and supportive women.

Diya is a third-year student in the Honours Specialization in Health Science program. Joining BoostHer has given her the opportunity to connect with young professionals and build meaningful relationships. The club has inspired her to contribute to a supportive network where members navigate and celebrate their career journeys together.

Pranati is a third-year Economics student who designs blog posts for the BoostHER Blog.
